Washington Park - Technology ClassroomExplore and use StitchFiddle in order to make your own personalized tapestry art. Then, using your own custom pattern, learn how to change yarn colors to bring your project to life.

Class Duration: 2 hours for each section.
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult

Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Crochet Level 1

Required Skills: Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: [$10 dollars per part of part of class] (includes class and materials fees)
Optional Materials: Students [may/must] bring the following materials to complete the project:
- Pattern: Students will create their own flat tapestry design. Yarn and materials are customizable, just be sure to use the same yarn weight throughout color changes. A limited supply of yarn is available in classroom.
Note: Crochet skills are necessary to be successful in this class. New to crochet? Check out Let's Crochet Level 1.

Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
