Loom Knitting Easy Beanie Hats (3 Part)

Melrose Classroom - Second FloorLearn a simple ribbed brim beanie hat. This hat features the Knit stitch, e-wrap stitch and Purl stitch. Students are required to bring materials.
Simple ribbed brim beanie hat. If you have attended our introduction to loom knitting class or you know how to loom knit, then this class is for you. Together we will loom knit a simple beanie hat. Featuring the Knit stitch, e-wrap stitch and Purl stitch.
- Class Duration: 3 parts, 1.5 hours each part
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult
- Required Skills: Beginning loom knitting skills.
- Materials Fee: None
Required Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:
- Round Loom With 48 pegs gauge 5/8” (for adult sized hat)

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
